Retreat terms and conditions

These Terms and Conditions ("Terms", "Terms and Conditions") govern your relationship with www.theyogabrain.com website (the "Service") operated by The Yoga Brain LLC ("us", "we", or "our").

Please read these Terms and Conditions carefully. These terms are binding with your purchase of your retreat package.

PAYMENT

All rates are to be settled in USD.

A non-refundable deposit of $500 is required to hold your spot. To be eligible for the early bird pricing, the final payment must be received by September 15, 2024.

The final payment for all participants is due by November 25, 2024.

CANCELATION POLICY

If a participant cannot attend the retreat after being accepted, they must notify megbrackett@theyogabrain.com in writing before September 15, 2024, to obtain a refund of any fees paid, excluding the $500 non-refundable deposit and credit card fees.

No refund is available if the participant cancels for any reason after November 25, 2024.

We will not be financially responsible for any personal travel and associated costs of any participant who cancels their participation in the retreat.

We will give full refunds minus processing fees if we need to cancel due to unforeseen events.

We may ask any participant or guest to forfeit their stay if the individual’s behavior interrupts the retreat or another participant’s stay. Participants will not be refunded their retreat fees or reimbursed for any associated travel costs.

We reserve the right to alter the itinerary at any time and without prior notice.

TRAVEL INSURANCE

Travel insurance is required for your trip. Many companies offer travel insurance, but Travelex and World Nomads are reputable organizations that provide worldwide coverage.

All guests must travel with health insurance, be well informed of their coverage, and know their 24-hour contact line.

COVID-19 POLICY

Each participant should take a COVID test on the morning of January 18, 2025. Please bring your COVID test results. If you are positive for COVID-19, you will not be able to join the group and will have to find accommodation until you have a negative test result and are no longer contagious.

If you become sick while on retreat and test positive for COVID, you will be asked to move to another hotel, isolate, and heal to protect the rest of the guests. This will be at the cost of the infected guest. Please check your travel and health insurance for coverage.

Only upon testing negative for COVID-19 will you be able to rejoin the retreat and participate in the activities.

By consenting to this agreement, you acknowledge the contagious nature of COVID-19 and other viruses and voluntarily assume the risk that you may be exposed to or infected by COVID-19 and other viruses by participating in activities or programming on retreat.

You also understand the risk of exposure to or infection by COVID-19 or other viruses before the retreat.

TRAVEL RESTRICTIONS

If travel restrictions due to COVID-19, political, or other natural disasters develop, we may move the retreat dates and/or location. No refunds will be issued. We cannot be responsible for participants' additional costs in accommodating the change. We reserve the right to determine the timeframe within which new dates may be reserved based on the development of travel restrictions. We cannot be responsible for individual participant refunds or additional costs incurred due to the date change.

Participants must be 18 years of age or over to attend the retreat.

Airfare, travel insurance, and health insurance are not included.

Electronic Signature Consent

By checking here, you are consenting to the use of your electronic signature in lieu of an original signature on paper and agreeing to the terms above. You have the right to request that you sign a paper copy instead. By checking here, you are waiving that right. After consent, you may, upon written request to us, obtain a paper copy of an electron record. No fee will be charged for such copy and no special hardware or software is required to view it. Your agreement to use an electronic signature with us for any documents will continue until such time you notify us in writing that you no longer wish to use an electronic signature. There is no penalty for withdrawing your consent. You should always make sure that we have a current email address in order to contact you regarding any change, if necessary.
