January FULL Moon Circle
The term "Wolf Moon" originates from Native tribes, who named it after the howling wolves often heard during this time of year. Food scarcity drove them to howl in search of their packs. The full moon was an essential marker for these tribes, indicating the harshness of winter and the arrival of new beginnings as they prepared for the changing seasons.
As we gaze at the Wolf Full Moon this January, we reflect not just on the celestial display but also on the themes of companionship, survival, and the cyclical nature of life. Just as the wolves howl to communicate and strengthen their bonds, the full moon reminds us of our connection to one another and the natural world.
